Injection Molding
Injection molding of plastics is a complex application that sometimes requires many different kinds of heaters. We carry band heaters and coil/nozzle heaters for maintaining temperature in conduits and nozzles, as well as cartridge and strip heaters for heating molds and platens. For band and cartridge heaters, we also have automatic online configurators that calculate a quote and allow you to buy automatically. Some process designs also use insulated cloth heating jackets to maintain temperature of melted plastics in longer pipes.
