Inline Liquid Heaters
Inline heaters are used to heat flowing liquids as they travel. Instead of being directly immersed in the liquid, an inline heater is a standalone unit through which the liquid is circulated. Inline heaters allow for fast heat-up of continuous flows of liquid – with an inline heater, you don't have to wait for an entire tank to heat up before you get any liquid at the appropriate operating temperature; you can simply circulate the heated liquid out of the heater and into where you need it.
We have a few types of standard inline heaters:
- Inline solvent heaters are for chemicals that are highly corrosive or flammable. Heat exchangers inside the heater impart heat at a very low watt density over a large area, reducing the risk of ignition and mitigating the corrosion-accelerating effect of intense heat.
- Tytan™ water heaters are high-powered, safe, and reliable units, specially designed to heat deionized water but excellent with other types of water as well. Their titanium elements maximize cleanliness and eliminate ionic contamination, and they are available with up to 144 kilowatts of power.
- Miniature circulation heaters are packaged heaters for heating small volumes of liquids, such as photographic developer solutions, chemicals, dyes, and inks. They are constructed of 316 stainless steel, and can accommodate pressures up to 100 psig.
We also can assist with designing a custom inline circulation heater based on your power needs.
