Heat Trace Cable
About Heating Cable
Heating cable is an excellent solution for pipe and gutter freeze protection, process temperature maintenance, viscosity control, pipe heating, and many other applications. It is ideal for long runs along pipes and vessels and can be cut to length at the job site. Heating cable is capable of reaching 500°F and meets NEC 427.23 and IEEE Std 515-2004. It is available in self-regulating and constant-wattage versions. (What's self-regulating cable?)
We also offer a true heating tape that is much more flexible and provides a more rapid thermal response.
To learn more about heating cable, check out the articles in the box on this page, for answers on: how "self-regulating" is defined, minimum and maximum circuit lengths, how to use heating cable for freeze prevention, and many other common questions. If you have any more questions about heating cable, feel free to call us at (866) 685-4443, send us an e-mail, or fill out one of our contact forms.
